TEAMS 4U - SHOEBOX DONATION 20.10.15 The charity Teams4U is very close to our hearts here at Corn Hir School, therefore we intend supporting this appeal again this year. It is also a great opportunity to show good will during the Christmas period. In order to reduce the cost, since £2 is expected to be enclosed, we have suggested that the children may create a box with friends and share the cost. We ask that the boxes reach us on Monday, 23rd November. Thank you for your support. Yours faithfully, |

ATTENDANCE |
INDUSTRIAL ACTION ON 10.07.14
We have received notice that members of NUT Cymru & Unison intend to take industrial action by withholding their labour on Thursday, 10 July 2014, for one day. Six out of the nine teachers at Ysgol Corn Hir are members of the NUT and the majority of the support staff are members of Unison, and they intend to support their Unions strike action.
As a result I will be taking the necessary steps to close the school on that day for all classes apart from Year 2, for reasons relating to health and organisational matters should the school remain open. The Year 2 trip will still take place on that day.
I apologise in advance for the inconvenience this action will undoubtedly cause.
Yours faithfully
Meinir Hughes
Headteacher
